21 DEC 2017                    Thursday            Day 1: Hanoi - Ba Be Lake (-/L/D)
Today we go to Ba Be Lake about 240 km, this is a very beautiful lake above the mountains and surrounded by jungles where live the Tay, Dzao minorities.
If you leave from Hanoi at 07:30 AM, you can arrive around 12:00. The car will take you to the local house of Tay minority for lunch. After lunch we can make an excursion on the lake with motor boat until Puong cave, the very spectacular one. At that time it would be sunset…
For dinner, we will eat with local family, they cook their local food and we cheer “welcome to Ba be” with local rice wine. Overnight at local house as homestay.


22 DEC 2017                    Friday                 Day 2: Ba Be Lake - Bao Lac (B/L/D)
Breakfast at homestay.
We go to Bao lac, 150km this is very mountainous area of Cao bang, we will visit some villages along road, and lunch in one local restaurant (our guide will arrange, or you can order a la carte). In this small town, we can overnight in small hotel, for example Duc Tai hotel, the unique good one in the town. Bao Lac is the region of black Lo Lo ethnic minority and the border area with China. Overnight in Bao Lac.

23 DEC 2017                    Saturday            Day 3: Bao Lac-80 km – Meo Vac - 25 km - Dong Van (B/L/D)
We drive up to the highland of rock, the land of Hmong tribe with many amazing sceneries during the road, we often stop to meet local people, to take foto, to admire the nature. Lunch comes across at one local restaurant in Meo Vac.
After the lunch we continue drive up to the most breathtaking road, the “happy road”
You will stop at one of the most spectacular pass of Ma Pi Leng for taking pictures and continue to Dong Van town.
In Dong Van, we can choose to stay in small hotel like Hoa Cuong or stay in homestay. There is one old 100 years old house, very particular of one ex Hmong mandarin, restored for tourist, but often full…we will check and propose to you.
We arrive in Dong van and have a short walking to the village of local ethnic Tay.
In this area there are many beautiful markets on Sunday and in some particular Chinese zodiac days (for example Lung Phin market on the tiger and monkey day), it depends on your period of the holiday we will arrange the best one.
You can choose to eat at the local house or dinner in the restaurant in the town. Overnight in Dong Van.

24 DEC 2017                    Sunday               Day 4: Dong Van - Quan Ba about 160 km (B/L/D)
In the morning we participate in the most important Sunday market of the old town Dong van. We can stay for some hours to meet many ethnic people from surrounding villages on foot all night long to the market to buy and sell, moreover for entertainment.
We leave the town towards the Hmong kingdom, about 20 km on the right, we enter the small road in the middle of limestone plateau.
You can visit the old house of the Hmong king Vuong Chi Sinh.
After continue for Quan Ba town.
Stop in Yen Minh town for lunch in local restaurant.

Overnight and dinner with the Dzao people in the Nam Dam village. Homestay and dinner with “long trouser” Dzao in the house with “beaten soil” walls.
25 DEC 2017                    Monday             Day 5: Quan Ba - Ha Giang 60km (B/L/D)
In the morning, we have a mini trekking in the village among the carpet of flowers.
We leave the village and towards Quan Ba town, taking a short walk in the town and drive up to the heaven pass of Quan Ba where we can see two conical hills.
Arriving in Ha Giang city, we visit small villages during the trip, and small trekking in the Tay villages of Ha Thanh, It is the most peaceful and colorful valley I have ever seen.
We stay in Truong Xuan local green resort. Dinner in the resort. Overnight in Ha Giang.


26 DEC 2017                    Tuesday             Day 6: Ha Giang - Vu Linh - Thac Ba Lake 180 km  (B/L/D)
Vu Linh is a Dzao village by the side of the lake, very friendly people and their welcome is exceptional. We stay in homestay with local Dzao people and have dinner with them. Cheer together with rice wine. Overnight in Thac Ba lake.

27 DEC 2017                    Wednesday       Day 7: Vu Linh - Hanoi 180 km(B/L/-)
In the morning, enjoy a relaxing cruise on traditional boat to discover Thac Ba Reservoir. Here offers chance for you to experience the way villagers paddle their boats; eye-witness the exotic and odd animals living nearby; enjoy the quiet and peaceful scenery around the immense lake; as well as to learn more about the lifestyle of Dzao people – who live on thousands of islets. Surely, you will have unforgettable experience and get an amazing panoramic view of the lake!
We say goodbye to Thac Ba lake and return to Hanoi. Lunch on the way.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, drop off at your hotel.Tour ends.
