On the road from Sapa to Lai chau town < new Lai chau where there Muong Thanh Hotel> you can visit some interesting villages.
Ban bo village is the home of many minorities, the Kinh, Thai, Mong, Lao, Dao, Giay, Khang xa, it is about 6 km from the main road to Than Uyen district. You can go near the village by car and take a walk in village.

 
 In this area, we can visit also Na Tam village of the Lu people, the women have black teeth because of beauty.  This village is on a small road from the main street, the car can approach next to village and you can walk to visit.




Tam duong has a main market on Sunday called Tam Duong Dat where we can meet many minorities. There are Dao Tien people with the special hat made of plastic and aluminum as a parabol on head. The Dao children has many coins decorated on hat. The Lu people with clothes full of color and black teeth sell theire weaving products. Zay and Hmong people also present in this market.
