Already since 1969, after the death of Ho Chi Minh, the relationship between Vietnam and China has not gone so well. While Peiking wanted Hanoi did a long guerrilla war and the small battle level, Hanoi wanted to liberate the South and unify the country. China limited the subsidy to Hanoi. The Hanoi puliburo  understood that the Chinese had their own interests in the war in Vietnam. They wanted to use Vietnam as if a card in the world chessboard among the big countries as China, Russia, and the United States. The movements are gradually seen and appeared more clear plan, when they put the hand with the United States and normalizing the relationship with Ping Pong meeting. In fact, China and the United States have already gone together '' by night '' since 1969, with the secret visits of Henry Kissinger, then President Nixon.

In 1972, the North Vietnamese army and the Liberation Front in the South have launched major attacks  in Quang Tri, Cu Chi, and Loc Ninh. Americans could no longer continue this long and costly war, the Chinese have realized that there could never drive the Viet people. And Cambodia was an alternative, the Khmer Rouge of Pol Pot and the politburo.
The Chinese have not gone well either with the Russians, the Indians. There remained only the Polpot government and North Korea to play their international chessboard.
The Pol Pot government with the absolute military support by Pei King did the massacres with their people or ethnic groups, especially the Vietnamese.
In the last months of 1978, the polpot army massacred civilians along the border of Vietnam and Cambodia, in Ba Chuc near Chau Doc, they killed 3,000 civilians, raped women, bellies cut, broken children killed, not by a coup gun, but with hoes and scythes, in Phu Quoc they killed 500 more civilians, in Tay Ninh to 800 civilians killed.
Vietnam has declared to the world of genocide and wanted China did with the role. Unfortunately, he refused.
Until February 1979, Vietnam has controlled Cambodia and China accused Vietnam's invasion. Deng Zhao Ping has played an excellent game of  position that cost the lives of hundreds thousand young Chinese and Vietnamese. He launched a poisonous arrow and bloody that struck two targets. First, draw the Vietnamese army from Cambodia, he saved the genocidal regime, the son of imperial doctrine of the Han Chinese. The second, strengthened his power in the Chinese government when he lost its to Hua Guo Feng and Lin Biu.

Two competitors could not understand the ingenious strategy of Ping, the military leaders and eventually paid the lives. A quick battle, '' a lesson to stubborn vietnam '' , even if it cost hundreds thousand corpses of Chinese youth, of only child families, all does not matter as the power obtained to Deng. Later, Deng Zhao Ping tried to cruelty world Tian An Mon when he ordered the chariot-armed to crush hundred thousand young Chinese rebels. China's Red Square, again, tint veins from human blood in front of the tomb of Mao Zhe Dong.
The Vietnamese, for centuries fought to defend, to win, to get rid and again kicked the Chinese out of the ground.
But the battle continues!

The story, again, has proved that the power play is never finished in the powers of heads. The struggle between demons and angels, innocent continues even in the period of civilization evolved.

Iraq
Syria
Ukraine
Africa
And also Europe, indeed in the United States
The battle continues ... ..who wins and loses?
